Clues in the Corners

Always make certain you look at the entire document, even the edges. There may be small or faint words lurking in the corners that could be significant pieces of information.

  1. Good point! I have a baptismal record for my ancestor in Ireland. Probably because there were several other families named Callaghan, whoever wrote up the entry in the ledger added "of Chapel Road" in the margin. Because of that, I now know they lived on Chapel Rd, right next to the church!
