Thank Those Who Help

When the clerk or librarian helps you with your search, thank them and let them know that you appreciate their help. And be polite when asking others to help you with your search. You will have more success when you do so.

  1. Yes! This is important. Be polite & kind so the archivist or librarian will be willing to help the next person who needs a hand.

  2. One needs to be patient, too. Often many patrons (all needing help) will arrive in the library at the same time.
