Learned About a New Source?

When was the last time you learned about a new genealogical resource, method, or term? Sometimes learning about something new, even if it doesn't directly relate to our research, is the best way to get our own genealogical research back on track.

  1. And often that "new" source may be an old one for someone else. I enjoy hearing about different places that I may not have found yet, but someone else has found helpful.

  2. I learn something new every visit to my state archives. It may be a resource that I didn't realize was available or it may be an historical fact that helps me in my research.
