About Tip of the Day

Genealogy Tip of the Day is written by Michael John Neill, nationally know genealogical researcher, writer and lecturer.

Every day we post a fresh tip, not copied or pasted from somewhere, but generated by actual research. Michael researches regularly in the course of writing Casefile Clues and tips come while research is being conducted.

Of course, one tip may be similar to one from a while back, but each tip is written fresh, not copied from somewhere else. Genealogy Tip of the Day is free--both on this site and on our Facebook Fan Page.

Michael has researched for over twenty-five years, writes the weekly how-to newsletter Casefile Clues, and lectures nationally on a wide variety of topics. Email him for information on seminars at mjnrootdig@gmail.com.
