I had the ...Yep. Had the same thing happen to me. I had the marriage register from the town my grandparents lived in, and looked at it over and over again, never bothering to look at anything else. About 5 years after I obtained a copy of the register, I happened to look at it and realized that the very next entry was for that of my grandmother's aunt (her mother's sister), listing her remarriage, and giving the name of her grandparents.
